Requirements for renting an apartment at Slättö
To rent an apartment at Slättö you must apply for at least 18 years of age, have a Swedish social security number and your own income. Income, salary, pension and study funding are included as income, but not child allowance or social security contributions (former social security contributions). Housing allowance, activity compensation and parental allowance are approved provided that additional income from employment exists.
The net income each month shall correspond to at least two (2) monthly rents. If the income is not really in proportion to the rent, you can still be approved as a tenant together with a guarantor.
If you, as an interested party, have payment notes or any debt with the Crown Prosecutor, you are welcome to apply for an apartment together with a guarantor with good finances. An individual assessment is then made.
When you apply to live in one of Slättö's apartments, you must be prepared to be able to prove your income through, for example, employment certificates and salary specifications. We also take a credit report on all our applicants before they are approved as tenants with us.
Approved credentials must always be presented when signing a contract.
