Renting from Slättö

We’re delighted that you’re interested in renting an apartment with us!

Please see below a detailed explanation of how the rental process works – from expressions of interest to signed rental agreements, and requirements for renting an apartment.

What happens

Expressions of interest

To rent an apartment from Slättö, you first need to submit an expression of interest.

On the respective project pages where rentals are in progress, you can easily see which apartments are available via the “Choose your apartment” link. For all future properties, you simply fill in an expression of interest form to receive information about updates and of course when the objects become available.

So, you can indicate your interest by submitting an expression of interest, attending one of our planned viewings or by booking a specific apartment through our project page on HomeQ (currently only available in Swedish).

Before rental properties become available, you can create a profile on HomeQ to process your application faster.

Expressions of interest via project pages>

Slättö builds residential buildings from scratch, which also includes discussions with municipalities in the initial stages of building projects. This means that prospective tenants may feel that it takes a long time before apartments are ready for rent. Most building projects take about three years from the time planning starts. As soon as properties are available on our website, you are welcome to register your interest. Expressions of interest are submitted on respective project pages.

An expression of interest is not binding for prospective tenants nor for property owners. However, an expression of interest means that you will receive more information about the project in which you have expressed an interest as soon as it comes available for rent.

We send information about rental starts and viewings on a “first come, first served” basis.

Prior to properties becoming available

From time to time, Slättö may arrange open viewings prior to properties becoming available. Dates and times of viewings are advertised on our websi

If you would like to receive information about upcoming viewings by email, fill in an expression of interest on the page that shows the project in which you are interested.

It is important that instructions are followed during viewings that are held on sites where construction is still ongoing. In most cases, we only show one apartment, but you will of course have the opportunity to receive material relating to all apartments in a building and/or neighborhood.

However, you do not need to have been to a showing to rent an apartment with us!

Applying for an apartment

As rental apartments become available, properties are linked to a project page via the HomeQ rental system (currently only available in Swedish). Here you can apply for a specific apartment that meets your particular requirements.

Slättö does not have a queuing system, so apartments that are already rented out are unavailable.

Once an apartment application has been made, our rental team will contact you when your application has been approved.

Please note that an expression of interest is not a confirmation, so it is possible that several interested parties register an interest in the same apartment. Slättö considers applications on a “first come, first served” basis.

Neither prospective tenants nor Slättö, as property owner, have any binding commitment until a valid rental agreement for your desired home has been signed.

If you have questions about apartments shown on a project page, or about other projects in general, please contact us.

What happens after I’ve expressed an interest in an apartment?

We check that the requested apartment is available. We then check details of your employment or pay advice for the past three months and that you comply with our rental policy. We will then contact you.

Apartments are not reserved until rental agreements are signed.

Good luck!

  • be at least 18 years old;
